‘Takes TWO to TANGO’:
CFWS Member Online Show
Celebrating July as International Watercolor Month is becoming an annual event for us. This year we decided that to offer a challenge.
Let’s see what each of us can create using only one or two paint pigments! You can mix them to create more colors but start with no more than two pigments. There are many fine examples of this on the web if you need samples to get your creative juices flowing.
Uncomfortable working with just two pigments? First, try it. If you don’t like the result, you can submit your favorite recent painting but think about giving it a try.
This online showing is for all members to share what we are doing. There is no jurying, no fees. Submit using the form below.
If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
Paintings will not be offered for sale. Artist contact information will be provided if requested.
This is a CFWS members only online show. Entries will be accepted on our web site from June 15 through June 30, 2025. Once posted, the show will run through Sept 30, 2025. Become a member and submit a work.
- One entry per member please. Your entry confirms that the work entered is your own, without the help of instructors, and that copyrighted images by others have not been incorporated into your work.
- The artwork image file must be in JPEG format. Crop your photo so only the image of the painting is showing, no mat or frame. The image should be straight, right side up and the color and exposure as true to your painting. You will need to resize your image to 600 pixels on the longest side and set the resolution to 72 dpi (using a photo editing program such as Photoshop Elements or one of the editing programs that are part of Windows or Macintosh platforms.) Please rename your file: First Name Last Name ‘Painting Title’.jpg before uploading.

You will receive an email to confirm receipt of your submission.
