We had a great time at the Ken Austin Workshop on Saturday, October 7th. We learned about communicating with our audience, creating tension, the importance of values, and painting what interests you. In doing these things, there are some fun “tricks of the trade” you can use like, stamping, patterns, lifting, and using unconventional items for special effects.
We all enjoyed this special workshop with a special instructor and wish we could have another day!
Attendees: Teresa Chin, Mary Dall, Karen Bowden, Cathy Caine, Sherry Mohr, Janet Asbury, Marcella Moglia, Susan Greenlee-Mamon, Marianna Ross-Hamilton, Maureen Murphy , Faye Tambrino & Diane Darnell.
Janet Asbury, workshop assistant, Michel did a great job keeping everyone happy with snacks, coffee and equipment.
