Dear CFWS members, mark your calendars for our upcoming CFWS meeting and demonstration by Pam Wenger. A ZOOM link will be composed and sent out to CFWS members in advance.

Pam will send a line drawing ahead of time so some members can Paint along!

“I’d taken some art classes in college and attended life drawing sessions at our local art associations, but working with color was something completely new for me. I began my journey by taking some basic watercolor classes at our local art association. I then attended workshops with Ted Nuttall and Charles Reid. Both of these artists have had a huge influence on my work. I continue to study with Ted’s master class each year and am also fortunate to count many amazing local artists among my friends. They keep me constantly inspired and challenged to grow as an artist.

For the past several years, I’ve been teaching watercolor workshops, focusing on what I call, “Quick Sketch Portraits” –  I work with a very transparent palette and a deliberate but spontaneous approach to achieve a loose effect. In my classes, I share the process and techniques that are working for me and encourage students to come up with a process that makes sense for them. It’s an honor to be able to share my passion with fellow artists and to encourage them in their painting journey.

I have exhibited and won awards in local, national, and international shows.”
