Cherry Down Park and Beach

8330 Ravenswood Ave, Cape Canaveral, FL

This is neighboorhood park and beach, the parking area isn’t overly large.  There aren’t any concessions available. Local restaurants are nearby including a Thai restaurant that is nice Thai Thai III, on Astronaut Way.

There are wooden walkways with tables and some shade, also wooden overpasses with steps to the beach.

The beach meeting point is by the tall coast guard chair, or members can choose to stay by the seating areas with some shade.  Bring plenty of drinking water, it is important to stay hydrated.  Also sunscreen, hat, insect spray.

Since this is a further location than our other sites, members may wish to carpool. It is a lovely area.
