The Central Florida Watercolor Society had a great plein air outing at Dickson Azalea Park. Amy, Dan, Debbie C., Judi, Karen, Sid, Terri, Tom and Thouraya enjoyed painting under the beautiful oak trees. The weather was overcast with some light sprinkles and the group painted on until it actually began to rain.

Terri’s watercolor sketch of some Giant Taro or elephant ears and a big and lovely Livistona chinensis palm.
Amy found a quiet place near a stream to paint.
Thouraya’s painting of one of the many trees.
Here we have Sid, Judi, Tom and Karen painting under the large oak trees.
Stewart joined us under the majestic branches of the large oak tree.
Terri found a small spot near the stream to sketch in her Concertina sketchbook.

All in all it was a wonderful way to spend an overcast morning out in the beatiful natural downtown park. A little gem in the middle of Orlando.

Join us next month at Nehrling Gardens, in Gotha, Fl. We will paint from 10 – 2 pm.
