It was a wonderful spring day at Lake Louisa State Park. Barbara, Debbie M, Joyce, Leslie, Sandi and Thouraya enjoyed the fantastic weather at “the beach”. Although the water level of Lake Louisa was low due to the drought, it allowed a good view of the lake grasses.  Lake Louisa State Park is a true central Florida gem and is well worth the drive.

Please join us for the next Plein Air at Mead Gardens on April 18th!

Art Day in the Gardens! CFWS volunteers are planning to bring sets of pan watercolors, brushes and paper/illustrations for the guests to paint. We still will need to get  a count (paint, palettes, and brushes we have on hand).

During this hands-on celebration from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy a variety of arts and crafts activities for all ages, led by the Harry P. Leu Gardens education team, the Central Florida Watercolor Society, Craft Club Orlando, and the Orange County Library System.
