There was a good crowd at the City Arts building on March 20 as we held a reception to open “The Watercolor Showcase” by the Central Florida Watercolor Society. Flowers and landscapes, portraits and abstracts were on display. There was also a “Legends Wall” showcasing the talents of local legends in watercolor: Ken Austin, Chauncey Nelson and Glenn Ward.
The Legends Wall displays art by Ken Austin, who founded our society 26 years ago, Chauncey Nelson and Glenn Ward.
We had 86 paintings up on the walls for the public to enjoy. No matter what your taste in subjet matter, it was well represented.
