Saturday (June 18) at the Orlando Science Center was a fun day!

“The Orlando Science Center asked our society for some volunteers for the MakeFest weekend. Ann W. and Terri C. spent the day at the Orlando Science Center, on the 3rd floor rotunda, painting an Osprey in her nest. We did live painting and had 70 people drop by our table to ask questions and pick up our brochures and flyers. We had samples of our plein air set up as well as paintings done in various locations. ” – Teresa Chin

“The staff were so solicitous and made us feel very welcome!   We had a lot of people come by and ask questions about Plein Air and CFWS.  Our table was placed by the elevators outside the STEAM Gallery, so we didn’t really have any view to inspire a painting, but Teresa and I decided to paint the stuffed osprey partially in our view.   We are really pleased to have this nice gallery to showcase our paintings!” – Ann Worrall
