It was a beautiful sunny day at Fort Christmas. The Cracker Christmas event was in full swing with historical reenactors, pioneer demonstrations and arts & crafts and food vendors. Sandi B. & Thouraya Z. enjoyed walking around the grounds, viewing the historic buildings and watching the spinners and lace makers. With such a busy event, no painting was done onsite.
Sandi and Thouraya were so inspired by the atmosphere that they painted historical cabins in the studio.
The event was huge and would make a great plein air destination on a day when there is no major event going on.
