A special painting for our founding father Ken Austin from Janet Asbury!
Ken is thrilled with the beautiful painting from a past party showing Ken holding onto the raffle ticket with the (hopefully) lucky number!
Janet wrote a special poem for Ken, which she put on the back of the painting.

Janet’s poem:

Here I am again

Musing on the irony

What does this raffle ticket

Really mean to me?

I’ve had much success,

Accolades in the halls,

Paying my dues

I worked for it all.

It’s not a big deal

A raffle ticket for free

But just this once

Why couldn’t it be me?

What a beautiful painting for a special artist. Thank you Janet and Ken for all that you have done for the watercolor society over the years!

Michel and Ted say “Cheers” and see you at the next meeting!

Next meeting is January 8th, 2023 at 1:30 PM. Demonstration by Lynn Ferris at the Seminole County Public Library. Address: 215 N.Oxford Rd. Casselberry, Fl 32707 parking on the side of the building near the conference room.
