Central Florida Watercolor Society’s “The Watercolor Showcase” is on display in the downtown City Arts Gallery through April 12, 2025. The work was selected and awarded by jurist Ron Malone. The show is open to the public during the gallery’s business hours. City Arts Gallery is located at the corner of Magnolia and Pine Streets, Orlando, Florida. Stop by to enjoy, study and buy a original watercolor painting.
There was a good crowd at the City Arts building on March 20 as we held a reception to open “The Watercolor Showcase” by the Central Florida Watercolor Society. Flowers and landscapes, portraits and abstracts were on display. There was also a “Legends Wall” showcasing the talents of local legends in watercolor: Ken Austin, Chauncey Nelson and Glenn Ward.
The Legends Wall displays art by Ken Austin, who founded our society 26 years ago, Chauncey Nelson and Glenn Ward.
We have 86 paintings for the public to enjoy. No matter your taste in subject matter, it is well represented.
