A lovely day of plein air painting was enjoyed by Thouraya, Marcela, Leslie, Pam and Meghan. Our CFWS members painted in watercolors and Meghan L. painted in oils. Pam’s little dog Bodhi also joined in the fun because Mead is a dog friendly park!
They were also joined by Ashton, age 10, and Eden, age 5.5, who painted on the same sheet of watercolor paper. Ashton’s painting is on the right and Eden’s is on the left.
A good time was had by all. Our members enjoyed meeting Meghan, who is an art teacher and hope they can all paint together in future events.
Our next plein air event will be at Nehrling Gardens, 2267 Hempel Ave. in Gotha, FL 34734. A $5 donation is appreciated. Use the Pedestrian Entrance on Hempel Ave. Mulch paths only.
Please park across the street on the open field or the church parking lot. Please use care, there is busy traffic on Hempel Avenue.
