We had a great turnout for CFWS’s last plein air of the season. Ann, Debbie B, Debbie M, Grant, Leslie, Marcela, Pam, Sandi, Susan, Terri and Thouraya enjoyed the day at Kraft Azalea Garden. Thouraya did a short and fun wet-on-wet demo. (The unfinished piece is the first photo below.)

We all gather around to watch Thouraya demonstrate the technique she used to create dramatic skies.

After wetting the paper, the first color is applied.

More water and more cars added.

Tip the painting to mix the colors.

Let it dry to finish at home.
