It turned out to be a very windy and cool day when we got to the Lighthouse at Grantham Pointe Park.

The lighthouse in the park area had lots of visitors.
An early morning Great Blue Heron taking a break from fishing.
White Ibis poking in the waters’ edge for breakfast treats.
Susan G., Marcela M., Ann R., Julie N., and Terri C. (taking the photo) had a lovely… although windy day at the beautiful Grantham Park.
Marcela watches Susan painting a palm tree, surrounded by her favorite colors!
The finished Palm painting by Susan. Love the colors!
A serene boat floating on Lake Dora. Painting by Susan G.
Landscape of Lake Dora by Susan is beautiful.
Cindy S., joined us and did one of her faulous plein air paintings! What a great view!
What a lovely watercolor painting of the lighthouse from the dock point of view Cindy!
Terri‘s painting of the lighthouse and Lake Dora, along with branches piled up from Hurricane Milton.

We had a great time! Even in the cool, windy weather! So join us next month in Downtown Orlando for more outdoor art fun and friendship!

H. H. Dickson Azalea ParkDickson Azalea Park began as a natural stream, later named Fern Creek, in a deep ravine surrounded by native ferns, palms, and oaks. It once was a watering hole for cattle herders driving their animals south.

We will meet at the base of the historic Washington Street Bridge…. near the Rosearden Drive street side. There is a small stream in this area, nice and shady to meet at. A rare remnant of pre-Disney Orlando, this well-preserved bridge is noted for its attractive design.

There is parking along the streets as well as over by the Mayor Carl T. Langford Park, near Central Blvd. See you there!
